Prior to arriving at the restaurant where we were served a sumptuous feast of salmon with almonds, roast beef or chicken, George and Janet renewed their vows at an intimate cathedral easily accessible by public transit.
More than 50 friends and family attended, and participated in picture taking after the marriage ceremony.
Singer Ricoh helped entertain everyone, highlighted by some romantic and humorous songs while George and Janet danced.
While some attendees joked about the name of the dining establishment particularly when George and Janet shared a story about their first date (at a hotdog stand), everyone enjoyed the cuisine at Bluffer’s. The restaurant is about 20 minutes from downtown Toronto, and is nestled in a 400-acre parkland with wall-to-wall windows featuring a breathtaking panorama of Scarborough Bluff’s Marina. Many docked yachts were clearly visible below the entrance walkway.
And there was dancing.
One of Janet’s nieces had so much fun she remarked “Are we coming back tomorrow?” as the wonderful night ended.
